Welcome / Where I'm At / Plans for the Future

Welcome to my new website. I built it as an introduction for myself to HTML and web servers. I used Hugo and I'm hosting it on my cloud server. It's not very flashy, but it's a solid foundation to build on.

The last few years have been utterly wild. A shake-up in my life was required. I currently do not have a studio to work out of. My previous studio (2017-2022) was no longer serving my or my clients' needs. I am lining up the funding over the next few years for an ideal space to create, both for myself and for others. In the meantime, I'll be doing some IT work and broadening my skillset. The last year has been a time of immense growth; I have acheived things I never thought possible and defied preconceptions I had about myself.

There are a few projects I have on simmer for the next year or two that I am very excited about. Casually Dating's LPs "Never Awake" and "Dark Night of the Soul" will receive remasters sometime in the next year, as well my own deathoflofi releases. These will be outsourced to other awesome engineers while I am without a space. Stay tuned. There are more re-releases planned that I cannot publically mention at this time.

I would also like to use this blog to recount the stories behind some of the music I have had the pleasure of working on over the years. First up will be Casually Dating. Paul has agreed to sit down and collectively rack our brains in hopes of recalling those recording sessions. There are many stories to tell, and maybe no one cares, but I do, and if you're reading this, maybe you do too.

Finally, there is ton of unreleased deathoflofi material I would love to publish. All in good time.
